This feature is exclusive to Gelato+ or Gelato+ Gold customers. Packaging inserts and branded labels are an exclusive feature that only Gelato+ and Gelato+ Gold subscribers can access. If you are on a Gelato+ trial you can also access both packaging inserts and branded labels. If you are on a Gelato+ Gold monthly you can also access both packaging inserts and branded Labels.

Are packaging inserts and branded labels available for all products and regions?

Packaging inserts and branded labels are available for some variants of posters, framed posters, and ready-to-hang posters to be delivered to: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden. These countries are where packaging inserts and branded labels products are currently fulfilled. We plan to expand to more countries and will inform you once you can activate your packaging inserts and branded labels to be delivered to more countries.

Can I select to deliver packaging inserts and branded labels to a specific country?

Packaging inserts and branded labels can only be activated at a sales channel level, not at a country level. That means that all your orders for the selected sales channel that contain either posters, framed posters, or posters with hangers — with a variant that is available for packaging inserts and branded labels — will be delivered to all countries available: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden. For instance, you cannot activate packaging inserts exclusively for the United States.

Can I activate a labels and inserts at a product type level (e.g. poster) or at a variant level (e.g. museum-quality matte paper poster)?

You can select to activate packaging inserts and/or branded labels at a sales channel level, but not at a product type or variant level. For instance, if you activate packaging inserts in your Shopify store, it will be sent with your orders for posters, framed posters and posters with hangers for the applicable variants that are available.

Are packaging inserts and branded labels available for all Gelato e-commerce platforms integrations (Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, etc.)?

Both packaging inserts and branded labels are available for all dedicated Gelato integrations for the e-commerce platforms Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and BigCommerce. You can also manage orders with packaging inserts and/or branded labels if you are integrated with Gelato using Order Desk, place orders manually through our dashboard, or integrated directly with our API.

How much does custom packaging shipping cost?

There is no additional cost to ship a package with a custom packaging label or insert, however, we charge $0.49 for each insert or label, which you can design and create for free using our easy to use platform. Branded packaging and custom packaging products can make a huge difference in marketing your brand and establishing a guaranteed reach.
